The Pumpkin Spice Café (4/5 stars) is the definition of a cozy comfort read—with plenty of spice layered in. It’s warm, charming, and exactly the kind of book you pick up when you want to escape into something fun and feel-good. I gave this one 4 stars, and it absolutely lived up to its autumnal promise.
Logan completely stole my heart. I loved everything about his character, from his quiet strength to his natural caretaking instincts—and his animals were an unexpected highlight. The chicks, especially, added so much personality and charm, making his scenes even more endearing. He’s the kind of character who feels steady and safe, even when the story turns spicy.
Jeanie was incredibly relatable. Her doubts, hopes, and emotional honesty made her easy to connect with, and her journey felt authentic rather than overly dramatized. The chemistry between her and Logan is undeniable, balancing sweetness and heat in a way that keeps the story engaging and fun.
What really makes this book work is how comforting it feels overall. The café setting, the small moments of connection, and the gentle emotional arc all come together to create a story that feels like a warm drink on a crisp fall day. It’s not trying to be heavy or complex—it’s meant to be enjoyed, and it succeeds.
A few quotes that captured the vibe and stood out to me:
“Some places feel like home the moment you walk through the door.”
“He looked at her like she was something worth staying for.”
“Comfort didn’t have to be boring—sometimes it came with heat.”
If you’re looking for a spicy, cozy romance with lovable characters, charming animals, and peak fall vibes, The Pumpkin Spice Café is a great pick. It’s an easy, comforting read that leaves you smiling—and maybe craving a latte.
