Hey There

Niki is originally from Waco, Texas, and Justin is from a small town an hour east that most people have never heard of. We met in college while working together. We became fast friends. A few years later, we eventually began dating. We moved seven times in our first six years together, until we eventually bought our current home in a small, rural town in East-Central Texas, where we have happily been residing for the last seven years.

We have 2 boys whose personalities couldn't be any more different. We waste our money buying books, eating good food, attending sporting events, traveling, and going to as many concerts as we can manage. You can find us cheering for the Baylor Bears, Houston Texans, Houston Astros, and the Dallas Stars, while also attending motocross and monster truck shows. We are both avid readers and have passed our love of reading on to our sons, who regularly ask to visit the bookstore, which we gladly indulge. We try to visit indie bookstores whenever we travel, when possible. We listen to a wide variety of music genres between the 2 of us, leaving plenty of opportunity to go see live music as often as possible.
