Hey There
I'm Niki DeLeon, a mother of two wild boys, wife, book enthusiast, aspiring writer, and chronic wanderluster. I love a good story and am always on the lookout for our next adventure. My husband, Justin, and I cherish our quiet moments amidst raising our sons by immersing ourselves in books, exploring bookstores, camping, hiking, and traveling, as well as concerts. We love discovering new experiences, from food to various music styles and book genres.
All About Me
I am originally from Waco, Texas. Justin and I met in college while working together. We became fast friends. I annoyed him into it. A few years later, we eventually began dating. We moved 7 times in our first 6 years together until we eventually bought our current home, in a small, rural town in east Central Texas, where we have happily been residing for the last 6 years.

We have 2 boys who's personalities couldn't be anymore different (which sums up Justin and my's relationship). We waste our money away buying books, eating good food, going to sporting events, traveling, and attending as many concerts as we can manage. You can find us cheering for the Baylor Bears, Houston Texans, Houston Astros, Dallas Stars (my favorite hockey team is the Boston Bruins), and attending motocross and monster truck shows. We are both avid readers and have passed the obsession on to our sons who regularly ask to go to the bookstore which we gladly indulge. We try to visit indie bookstores when we travel as much as possible. We listen to a wide-variety of music genres between the 2 of us leaving plenty of opportunity to go see live music as often as possible.
